"SEE Change in Penkridge as we walk into the future"

Words like the ones above may soon be seen written on major signs as you enter Penkridge.   Why, you ask?   Because Penkridge may become a leader in the Midlands, perhaps in the UK, in a move towards not only making our community much more sustainable in all aspects of life here, but there are plans to build the first Regional Sustainable Technologies Centre right here in Penkridge.  To learn more about this Centre and what "SEE Change" is all about, go to this link and learn all about it.   SEE Change

It is an exciting new project which Penkridge Parish Council is proud to be a partner of and is fully supporting.  It will not only be promoting Sustainable Development throughout the UK, which is now accepted as essential if life as we know it is to survive, but it will also be once again putting Penkridge in the lead in taking action when action is needed.

As the project progresses and as Penkridge Parish Council and the businesses and people of Penkridge begin to develop sustainable enterprises, sustainable homes, sustainable travel, sustainable food production, sustainable energy production -  and in the process we minimize pollution of air, land, and water; and the wildlife and biodiversity in our parish remains healthy and increases - we will be reporting these Changes on this website.   You will SEE Change happen.

If you want more information or wish to comment or make suggestions or get involved in this project - a project  that has to succeed if the next generation (our children) are going to have a happy and rewarding life - then you can email:   sustaining at penkridge dot org dot uk -  or write to:  SEE Change, Penkridge Parish Council, Haling Dene Centre, Cannock Road, Penkridge, Stafford ST19 5DT.
