POLLING STATION - PEACE MEMORIAL HALL - FROM 7am to 10pm
THREE CANDIDATES - ONE SEAT.


CANDIDATES ARE:   Sam Murphy;   David John Oldfield;   Calvert Stonehouse.

10 Electors in the West Ward have called an election so one will be held shortly.   Official Notices requesting nominations will be posted shortly both on Noticeboards in the village and on this website.

Notice of a Vacancy that has arisen on Penkridge Parish Council has been posted on Council Noticeboards in the Parish.   The vacancy is in the WEST WARD and has become vacant due to the resignation of Cllr. MacDonald.   

To summarise the position:

1.  If 10 electors from the WEST WARD write to the Returning Officer at South Staffs. District Council and request an election which is received by them by 5pm on the 10 February 2010, then an election will be organised by them in the West Ward.

2. If no election is called by that date and time, then the Parish Council will be informed that they may Co-opt a person to fill that vacancy.
