Penkridge Annual Civic
Award
and Penkridge Junior Civic Award (under 25)
Fourteen years ago, the Parish Council decided to make an annual award to a local person or persons who have made an outstanding contribution to the community of Penkridge. Each year Penkridge Community is asked to nominate a person or persons who they consider should be considered for this prestigious award. A Panel of Parish Councillors then considers those names put forward and decides on the recipient for the year. The award is a perpetual trophy (an inscribed Stuart Chrystal punch bowl). Award winners' names and citations are recorded in a beautiful printed book which can be seen at Haling Dene by request.
