Penkridge Youth Theatre started in 1999 with the aim of introducing young people to the dramatic arts by providing opportunities for them to learn and practise drama and related skills, and to participate in dramatic performances.

We do this by holding weekly sessions on Friday evenings during school terms at Wolgarston High School, from 6.30 to 8.30pm. These are staffed by a team of amateur helpers and volunteers, under the supervision of a paid drama coach.

We aim to provide a friendly and flexible learning environment, where any youngsters between the ages of 10 and 16 years develop their dramatic skills, and have fun with their friends.

For this, there is an annual subscription to join, and a small charge for each weekly session attended.
