Objectives

  • To bring together a group of Penkridge residents, the Police and various agencies to work together to address neighbourhood crime, nuisance and anti-social behaviour.

Terms of Reference

  • To meet together every six to eight weeks in order to exchange information about misdemeanours, nuisance and anti-social behaviour in and around the village of Penkridge and to determine ways to address them, working in partnership with the Police and other agencies.
  • To maintain and monitor the alcohol ban in designated public places in the village.
  • To communicate with each other in between meetings and call additional meetings when required.
  • To liaise with JOG (Joint Operations Group) and request their help when required.
  • To encourage the community to report any incidents or matters of concern, using the NEW POLICE NON-EMERGENCY NUMBER: 0300 123 4455, ASK FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICE DESK FOR PENKRIDGE. REPORT YOUR INCIDENT AND ASK FOR AN INCIDENT LOG NUMBER BEFORE ENDING THE CALL.
  • To report regularly to the Parish Council and the Penkridge Community on issues dealt with and progress achieved.
  • To encourage volunteers from the community to assist the work of the PNN and the Neighbourhood Police Unit.
