How Penkridge celebrated Queen Elizabeth the Second's Golden Jubilee

The weather was very kind (and the camera & batteries didn't pack up!), so here are a few of the celebration events that were organised in our community and some pictures of Penkridge people who took part.

B & J Fashions of Market Street were the winner in the Jubilee Best Dressed Window Award.
The first prize (donated by the Quality Hotel) of a meal & accommodation for two overnight, has been donated to the Charity Heart FM Run for Home which is being supported by the Cross Keys pub in Penkridge.  It will be used as a prize to raise further funds for the charity.
