Penkridge Community - Have your Say |
We have had a Penkridge website for many years and I have tried on a couple of occasions to set up a Bulletin Board/Forum on it so that anyone in the community could participate in discussions about Penkridge, its people, its organisations, the good things people want to preserve and the not-so-good things which people may wish to change.
I have now set up a group on google which will be linked
to from our website. Penkridge people can request to join but it will mean, unlike the
previous Forums, that we can prevent all the spam that ruined the other
attempts.
This, hopefully, will be an outlet for anyone living or working in the parish of
Penkridge, to say what they wish, about anything - within reason of course. It
can also be the place where we can discuss together how the website can also
develop and improve.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE AN INVITATION TO JOIN, THEN ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS
go to:
http://groups.google.com/group/penkridge and sign on and apply
to join.

On there you will also find a Group heading subject called
"Patient
Link", where you can contribute ideas, suggestions and comments about our
valuable Health Service in Penkridge, operated by the General Practice and
others at the Health Centre in Pinfold Lane. Patient Link is a
group of Penkridge people who have come together to be a link between the
community and the Health Centre, to bring ideas and suggestions forward from
you, the patient, in order to better serve the people of Penkridge.
AND the latest FORUM is the "PARISH
PLAN FORUM" where you can participate in producing the future
Plan for Penkridge.
Other subjects being discussed are: Planning Application on A449 for
Caravan Site; Traffic Control in Penkridge; Rodbaston Windfarm;
Future of Silverdene Site and Open Space around it.
Other Subject headings will appear on there - it is simply up to you to raise
the subject.
