Current Penkridge Issues |
The Civic Society considers Planning Applications relating to
Penkridge Parish and often makes comments to the District Planning Authority
and/or to the
Parish Council. Penkridge, being a large community, has had, and is still facing,
large development issues. If you have any views or comments about what you believe
should be conserved in our Parish (or perhaps what might be changed), then you should make
your views known to the Civic Society and/or to the Parish Council. Come along to
one of our regular meetings on the third Thursday of the month at the Heritage Centre (the
Old Gaol).
You can air your views there on subjects that you care about, e.g. Transport in Penkridge, Housing, the Market, Development in Penkridge, Crime and Conservation issues.
If you care about Penkridge and what it will be like in the future, then be active now and speak up about what you like and what you don't like. We live in a democractic society and your voice will be listened to if you speak to the people who can influence change - like the District Council, the Parish Council and your Civic Society.
