Sheila's Celebration Cakes (a small business in Penkridge) are listed in the businesses on this web site.   She makes one-off cakes specially to order. 

She recently received an email asking for details and a price list - but it was from New Zealand.  She thought it may have been a scam - surely nobody would order a cake from England to be sent out to New Zealand!  Nevertheless she emailed a reply with details.  Imagine her surprise when the order arrived complete with Credit Card details which were completely genuine.   The cake was made and a photograph of it emailed to New Zealand.  After receiving the ok - the cake was duly delivered by Sheila's husband Paul to:  Not New Zealand - but to a close relative living in Cannock Road, PENKRIDGE! 

When the gentleman opened the door to find Paul standing there with a cake saying "This is from New Zealand for your special birthday" - well, you can imagine his surprise and his delight.

Told to the Webmaster in the Bar at Haling Dene  (who incidentally, has relatives scattered all round the world and would love to receive a cake on his birthday - which is coming up very soon!)

The Company has the facility to transfer any pictures on to edible sugar paper and print with a printer that uses food colourings.
